Don’t end with “follow me on Instagram.” Start early with a clear next step:

  • Show a QR code in the first 3 minutes and again near the end.

  • Use a short memorable URL for people in the back row.
  • Automate a welcome email to hit inboxes before they reach the parking lot.

On-stage CTA formula:
“Scan the code for the [Name of Freebie]. It’ll be in your inbox in 60 seconds, and I’ll send two follow-up tips this week you can copy/paste.”


Strategy #2: Booths That Build Lists (Not Landfills)

Paper handouts disappear. Event-only perks + fast delivery win.

  • Poster/placard with huge QR + “Get the [Event] Bundle.”
  • Gate the bundle behind email; deliver instantly.
  • Offer a small incentive: “Scan to enter the [giveaway]—winner announced at 3 PM.”
  • Keep one iPad sign-up for anyone tech-shy.
